1998 T5 auto. Fairly consistently, filling up from the red line on the gauge only fits about 60L before the pump automatically stops, and the needle is right around where 60 would be. What I'm trying to figure out now is where I should start troubleshooting.
Is it not filling my tank completely and I should be checking that first?
or
Is red line to full really only about 60L, and I should check my sender and the wiring
Any other suggestions are welcome
Is it fuel gauge or tank breather?

Make sure you don't have any evap leaks, but I would suspect the evap purge valve or something of that sort. You'd need to test each component though.
