Hi folks, newbie here.
I've just acquired some very beautiful condition front seats, from a Japanese V70R probably, but black leather not Atacama.
I have a 2002 V70 2.4T, with cracked leather all over the front seats. Reason for buying the ones I mentioned, at a very decent price.
But, obviously, the rails are very different. No direct fit there. Probably the difference between facelift and pre-facelift.
So I'd like advice on how to do this. Will cutting and welding be involved?
Since in my car only the drivers side seat is electric, and the new ones are both electric, some clever fiddling with electrics is needed, and probably some adjustments in Vida Dice.
Does anyone have experience with this front seat swap? Any advice appreciated!
Tia.

The only thing you don't mention is what year the V70R seats are from.
