I bought it a month or so ago and the previous owner said he thought the park assist module was bad.
There isn't any light lit up on the park assist button when I put the car in reverse nor is there any audible sound.
I've tried a combination of sensors with no luck.
Fuse 26 tests good.
I've removed the sensors from the bumper and I've acquired used ones from a scrap yard.
Out of 10 sensors, 8 read around 1.5 to 1.6 mega ohms when measuring with the red meter lead on the right hand bottom pin and the black meter lead on the top-middle pin (of a 3 pin config).
Of the other two sensors one reads hundreds of mega ohms and the other less than a hundred ohms.
I have a couple spare modules I've tried as well but didn't have any success.
Could all these sensors be defective?
Where is a good source for affordable sensors for this car..?
2207 XC 70 Parking sensors: is 1.5m ohms a normal reading?

I picked up some more used sensors and most were 1.5 mega ohms so I'm guessing that's the right value...
I put four of these on the wiring harness and another module. It works beautifully now.
Turns out I had a bad module and more than likely one or two bad sensors.
I'm also guessing that if there's one bad sensor the circuit will not allow the reverse parking sensing to work at all, so as to avoid a possible reversing into something or someone in the non-sensed area..?

It’s possible that either the sensors or the module are faulty. A reading of 1.5 megaohms might be normal, but sensors with much higher or lower readings could be defective. Check the wiring, connections, and the module itself. For replacements, you can find sensors on sites like eBay, FCP Euro, or RockAuto.

Thanks.
It turns out the module was defective. I picked up a used one from an auto recycler and reversing into a parking space is actually fun, hearing the unit work like a charm.....
