I'm selling my 1982 244DL manual trans 4 cylinder. Miles unknown...180k maybe? Photos are linked below. Can't figure how to post them directly into this.


Body is solid, no rust except two small surface spots. One spot of surface rust on the RF fender. One spot surface rust on the roof
Ran when parked. I bought it for my 16 y/o daughter to drive, but reconsidered in light of the lack of airbags. I bought a mountain of parts and started to refurbish it, but life has intruded and it's surplus and I need the garage space. Struts, hubs, bearings, pre pump, fuel pump, steering rack rebuild kit, trailing arm bushings, clutch kit, brake stuff, and a bunch more. Prob $2000 in parts.

The headache:
It's in my garage on jack stands, and the hubs are all off the car. You'll need to bring dollies to get it onto a flatbed. You cannot drag it over my garage floor, nor can you work on it in my garage. I had some surgery last month and I cannot assist in any way. You do not get the jack stands in the $1000 price.

All the new parts are inside the car, and everything is intact. Hood is removed by easily re-installed.

This looks like a bargain, if you can retrieve and but it back together. These 240's can run a long time if maintained.
