Relay noise in cabin

Post by dj_volvo »

I have a relay clicking sound in the cabin. I think it is tied to the heating system. When I turn the fan off it stops. Any suggestion as to what to do next?

Welcome to the forum....if you're using the A/C and it's doing this, it means that you're low on coolant. What you're hearing is the relay clicking in synch with the compressor that is switching on and off. Buy a can of R-134A gas and a hose kit to give it the system a boost....the low pressure inlet for the gas is located right in front of the windshield washer tank under the hood.
