Limp Mode 1994 Volvo 960

First post on MVS, but, I have an issue with my transmission going into limp mode, the arrow on the dash isn't flashing, the mode selector isn't flashing, and my OBD1 has a solid bright light, no change if I press or hold the button. I have already replaced the pnp switch and did change the fluids. For your information I drove this car home after buying it and it had a crack in the radiator, which could've messed with the transmission cooling, but it never overheated. The old transmission fluid looks and smells fine. Any help?
