Hello,
I have a 2005 V70, 2.4L base model, 170k miles.
It started out infrequently, where the car would stall, while driving, or when starting up. The car will start, run for about 10 seconds and then sputter out. During this time the throttle seems sluggish and the car won't rev.
I've noticed that if it sits for several hours, there is no problem, I can start it and drive to work. If I want to drive to lunch, however, it won't start right away, or as of late, won't start at all, nearly draining the new battery trying to start it. If I wait until the end of the work day, it starts fine and I can drive it home.
I changed the coil packs and spark plugs yesterday, yet to no avail.
What could the problem be?
