Service oil sensor setting V40 II CC D2 2019

Post by V40IID22019 »

Hello everyone, I bought my Volvo V40 D2 about a month ago and I am very happy with it and I like it. It has a problem though, after about 1000 km from purchase it told me to top up 0.5 liters of oil, inserted but still did not read the level well (I use the vtool app with obd bt to read the oil as it is without a dipstick and the screen graph has no middle ground but only "low" and "ok") to remove any doubts I decided to personally carry out a complete service, all filters and new oil (Castrol 0-20 as per the manufacturer) 5.2 LT tank capacity I put 5 LT exactly, already at the beginning the level from the vtool app was about 4.5 LT but I thought it had to adapt, after about 70 km from the oil change it tells me low oil again but without the error to top up (values from the vtool app from 3.9 to 4.3 LT approximately, I tried to reset the oil sensor with the app among other things paying but nothing changed). By connecting the car to a topdon diagnostics it detects a problem with the CEM and thinks my car is PETROL?!?! plus related low oil problem from the sensor. The engine is a d4204t13 (n 3 milion plus so the problem of oil should be under 1.5 milion) even if it drank oil I doubt that in 70km It ate 1 LT. The bottom of the engine, the water and the engine are nice and clean so I can't understand where the oil goes or more likely the oil is right but it doesn't read it correctly (also because removing the oil and measuring it at the service from the 4.3 read by vtool in reality it was 5 liters abundant).
On another forum they said that diesel oil sensor are really sensitive to service and oil level should be set up with VIDA, as i understand my V40 Is too new and i can't use VIDA right? Any possibile way to use VIDA on my P3? I wanna do service by myself Is Crazy that i have to go to volvo garage every time.
Plus i wanna turn off the Start & Stop but Is Just a plus
Sorry for my english and thanks in advance to everyone.
