Radio Antenna, 01 V40

My 01 V40's radio antenna base has lost its seal. Is this a problem? Should I worry about rain water getting under the base and causing rust or leaking into the car? If so, where can I find a replacement base or purchase a protective seal?

I would be concerned with the water getting in. You might try some sealant...the parts for the mast should come out pretty easily. If the antenna is also loose then you should replace the sealing parts. Below is a picture of what I think you have on your car. If it's not, then post back. Part numbers are included. Give www.fcpgroton.com a call (yes, go to their site, get their number and call them) for the part(s) you need.
