HEADLAMP REFLECTOR BENT 2006 XC70

Driver’s side low beam points down and to the left. A very thin metal piece, that supports reflector, appears bent. The inside top of the reflector almost touches the bulb. There is a gap between the inside bottom of the reflector and the bottom of the bulb.

I would like to try to bend the reflector back into place through the bulb hole?

Any recommendations?

Access is a challenge to the low-beam bulb/reflector. At least the issue is with the LHF and not the RHF.

I just posted on replacing the bulbs with LED bulbs. If I were to replace both, I would opt for removing the bumper and headlights and then replace all the bulbs while in there.

However, you can get into the headlight on the LHF by removing the airbox. It is still a bit of a challenge as for some reason Volvo decided t offset the low-beam bulb from the access hole. The hole is maybe 50% accessible, but that should be enough to get in. Be careful how much you force the reflector as it is flimsy.
