Can the window switches be replaced in the main switch pack in the 1993 Volvo 850?

I've recently started having trouble operating the power windows on my 850 GLT. The switches have become intermittent—they often need a hard press or several attempts before the windows will move. Out of curiosity, I sprayed some contact cleaner into the switches, and they immediately started working much better, which makes me think the switches themselves are the culprit.

I did some digging on Skandix and AliExpress and found some 5-pin window switches that appear to fit the car. However, I'm not sure if those are only meant for the rear window positions. My confusion only grew when I noticed that AliExpress even sells illuminated versions, which made me wonder if they could actually be used in the main switch pack as well.
Has anyone here tried replacing the original switches with these aftermarket 5-pin ones? Is it a straightforward swap, or are there differences in wiring or functionality that would make it a bad idea?

At this point I'm half expecting the next time I use the windows to be their last, so any experience, success stories, or cautionary tales would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Xavier

Check a company called switch Doctor to see if they make a replacement switch for the 850 before you spend a lot of time on this.

They don't appear to have any Volvo switches listed. Crappy website with no logical layout.

FCP list the genuine switches:

FCP at $28 for the win. Can we get help to get it shipped to ECU?

As far as I can see, they don't offer any kind of Volvo switches. Still, good to know them, maybe I can use them for my Chevy Silverado. Thanks for your reply!

I'm assuming you're referring to AliExpress. I wasn't aware FCP sold the switches! That's amazing news, they're very trustworthy!

Thanks for your comment and for the link!

Thank you so much for your good intentions! I do have a trusted courier whom I use to import all the parts needed for my 850, so buying in the US and shipping it down here is not a problem.

I just wanted to be sure the switches could be replaced individually instead of the whole pack
