Wax removal on bumpers and trim

What is a good product to remove way from my trim? I am ready to do the Kiwi leather dye to them, but need to remove any wax first.
Google hasn't provided me with the answers I need :(

Two things I have used - cellulose thinners, very sparingly and methylated spirits.

Work was good - retirement is better.
