Wheel upgrade for a 1998 s70

Hi All!
great site!
I have a 1998 s70 with 15in steel wheels. After hitting a few pot holes in chicago I have seem to have bent all of my wheels. I came accross a set of icrus wheels off of a newer s80. Will these wheels fit on my car with or without spacers?

Should fit without any issue...it's the S40/V50's that have different spacing.

I'm also looking for new wheels for my 98 s70.
I have read some stories of bent wheels (mainly columbas) and also that the ride gets more bumpy with bigger wheels.

I originally thought to get 16 or 17" wheels, but I'm confused now.
This is the first time I heard about bent rims, although I wouldn't say the streets here are in a very good shape.

So, anybody want to suggest what I should get? I currently have the factory steel wheels. Any 16" alloy wheel should be ok? Is it more likely to bend 17" weels? Is it just the columbas that tend to get bent or would this happen to any other wheel?

I never botherd getting any special wheels before.

I have 16 Perfo's and they are fine...run 205/55/16 tires though....some like the 205/50 profile but to me that = bent wheels. You can often find good deals on used rims on www.swedespeed.com (look in the classified wheel section). Good luck!

I found some nearly new 17" titan wheels for a reasonable price, when I get them I'll post some pics.
Sadly I got rear-ended some days ago (woman mistook gas and break) and my rear bumper is toast

. Have to see how that plays out, but I hope that there is not more damaged.
