Volvo S40 Phase 2 Air Box

Hi guys,

I have a quick and easy question for you. In the air box, there is foam and to what I have heard I can remove this foam because all it is is insulation to reduce the sound. Do I remove the foam that exists at the top of the air box along with the foam at the bottom of the air box?

I took both of them off. Now you can hear the turbo hiss... make sure that you remove all of the left over foam so none get sucked in to the engine
