Engine light stays on but car runs great. Am i missing something or any checks that I can perform

Take your car to Autozone or Advance Auto they will read your codes for your check engine light for free. Then you will have an idea why the light came on.

Where are the spark plugs on the inline 5 engine

right underneath the black cover that says 20 valve. It's fasten down with 6 torx head screws.

I believe on a 95 you have the capability to read your own codes with the reader attached to the car. Down load the 850 manual at the top of this forum, It has the instructions on how to do so.
