My 1997 850 GLT's paint job is fading. Has anyone heard of a Volvo owner trying this $50 paint job?

I want to upset my neighbor (a professional painter) by using rollers and foam brushes on my car.
Thoughts?
Considering the $50 paint job
i think your mixing up the "rolling" theme on Volvo's with paint rollers... or your mixing paint rollers with volvos.
Ok im confused LOL... if it works then plenty of power to you.. wonder why he didnt just use spray bombs?

Found some more threads on others who painted using this method.

I might try with a small panel from a junk yard to see how it works.
