Hello fellow volvo owners,

I own a Volvo S40, 2000

I am having two probems:

1. Brake lights work intermittently, seems like brake light switch is the culprit, any way to clean the switch or just better replacing.

2. Windshield wiper motor (intermittent stopped working). There are 3 modes, the intermittent mode stopped working. Is this the wiper motor itself that has gone bad or is it the arm switch at the steering wheel.
