MASS AIR SENSOR
I noticed my gas mileage was steadily declining. Stage 0 is done. I took off the MAS and noticed some dirt and corrision.. What type of solvent do i use to clean it, without destroying it?

PEP BOYS has a special spray cleaner for it that doesn't leave any residue. I've read not use carb cleaner on the wire
I did it a year ago and I sprayed it thouroughly, no problem since. It is not phosphoric acid, the wire is made of metal and this wire is heated at around 390 degrees while it is in operation. I wouldn't be afraid.

i am gonna try it. wish me luck!
Turbo.......don't forget to unplug and clean the MAF plug contacts while your cleaning the MAF. Sometimes a low output from the MAF is caused partially by a dirty corroded plug.
