Hey
(sorry for my english)
My ECC is not working as it should. When in auto it will not regulate, blows cold air on max on all degrees unless you put it all the way to the right. Then suddenly it gets warm. But it is on full blast all the time.
What could be the problem? It is the new type v70.

It sounds like a problem either with the cabin temperature sensor or the air duct temperature sensor. Unfortunately you will need to get the system scaned by the dealer or another shop that has a Volvo Scan Tool in order to find out for sure.

Unfortunately I don't have any hands on experience with V-70s or S-70s. Normally I could look it up in VADIS for you but I am at my vacation cabin and I don't have it available to me.
Many things are the same on the 70 series and the 850s but others are different. On an 850 the cabin temperature sensors are located behind the grab bars, just above the front doors. If you have a small vent in that location then that is in fact the cabin temp sensor. On the 850 the duct temperature sensors are located in the center vents, one on each side. Each side of the car has its own set of both the cabin and duct sensors.
Hopefully someone with more 70 series experience than I will jump and and clarify their locations.
The only other thing that comes to mind on the problem would be a sticking damper door.
Is the problem the same on both sides of the car, drivers side and passengers side, or is it limited to one side of the car?
