External Temperature Thermometer

Post by Metallo »

Hi,

I've got a 940 2.0 Turbo SW Petrol, equipped with a thermometer to measure external temperature.
The display is at the bottom left side of the dashboard and during the last months it began to get dark on the right side.
Being an LCD display, the effect is similar to what occurs if you push on the display with a finger.

Any idea on what I could do to solve this small issue?
For instance, can I just change the display provided I find a new one?
If yes, can the cable be unplugged?

I expect the display to become completely black in the time.

Looking forward to reading your recommendations.

Thank you!
