1994 volvo 850 turbo. oil in coolant

Post by yoziyo »

I recently purchased this car and the seller told me that it had a bad gasket,
he recentlu had changed the radiator from performance radiator,I attempted to run the car and in one minute it leaked close to one quart of engine oil, and this was leaking from the radiator.what kind of thought you could advice ,is this head gasket problem that built up the pressure and oil in the coolant system until it damaged the new radiator or the radiator was defective and right from the begining the oil was mixing in the coolant.of note when taking off the hoses from the radiator there were whitish hard cottage cheese like materials possible an attempt with a stop leak material.
how to approach this?
Thanx in advance. :?:
