1990 240 wagon, standard 190k miles headgasket blown?

Hello! I've been lurking for the last year or so and the people here were an irreplacable resource for various work i've done on my volvo, such as my gas tank replacement. thanks everyone!

my current problem may be the death knell. i let my sister borrow my volvo, which had a sticky thermostat, to drive from NH to VT. i told her to watch the temp and pressure, but she didn't, and along the way i'm guessing the car overheated and possibly blew the headgasket; i have considerable coolant coming out my exhaust, and the oil appears to have emulsified. does anyone know if my guess is correct, or do you think it was possible to have warped or cracked the head as well? i like this car but it was sold to me by a man who wanted to pass the hot potato and i've put a fair bit of dough into it already. if it wasn't for the classic lines and charming chrome trim i would have given up by now. any ideas?

you got a blown head gasket .lucky easy to change need rite tools

Sounds like the head gasket but depending on the temperatures attained along the way the head may have warped. It will have to be checked and, if necessary, skimmed.
