D.C. Area Volvo meet March 13th

Meet at Glen Echo Park/Clara Barton Parking lot at 1pm. We'll shoot the shiznittle for an hour or so, then hop in and drive off through the wonderful countryside, scaring farmers and sheep alike (for those of you who like sheep ) Afterwards, we'll make our way to a suitable hooters establishment. Given our proximity to Rville, I think the Hooters on Rockville Pike will be an appropriate target. Any bitchin and moanin, post below, otherwise, seeya then!
Directions to Park: Take Beltway to Clara Barton Pkwy/Glen Echo/Cabin John (Head East towards DC/Cabin John...if coming from VA, this means bear right on the exit, from MD, Left). Take first exit (it's an overpass) and turn left. Cross over pkwy and go to stop sign. Make a right onto MacArthur blvd. Cross over 1 lane bridge. Continue about 3/4 of a mile and look to your right for signs to Glen Echo Park/Clara Barton Historic Site. Turn right, look for rowdy Swedes (or a dropped black 745) The entrance will be across from a small strip plaza with a drugstore and hardware store. If you reach the roundabout, you've gone too far.

This Run starts on River Road. From the park, we'll follow River Road West for approximately 3.5 miles. You will see a nursery on the right, The Behnke Nursery. Park here and reset your trip odometer.


00.0-Take a RIGHT out of the Nursery Parking Lot onto River Road.
08.9-Take a LEFT to continue on River Road.
14.0-Continue STRAIGHT instead of right and cross One Lane Bridge

18.1-Take a RIGHT on Edwards Ferry Road.
21.4-Take a LEFT on White's Ferry Road.
25.5-Turn in the White's Ferry Parking Lot-REST STOP.
25.6-Retrace White's Ferry Road STRAIGHT.
31.7-Enter Poolesville, MD.
31.9-Take a LEFT on Elgin Rd.
32.3-LEFT Sweeper to Bealesville Road.
34.3-Take a LEFT on Darnestown Rd.
-GO!
36.6-RIGHT Sweeper on Dickerson Rd. (West 28)
37.8-Go STRAIGHT under Railroad Crossing
39.7-Go ACROSS Bridge.
40.1-Take a RIGHT on Parks Mill Road.
44.4-CURVY ROADS!
44.8-Possible Caravan Photo Shoot.
46.9-Take a RIGHT on Route 80 East.
47.4-Pass Country Club on Right (Site of Past Photo Shoot)
48.3-Take a RIGHT Exit on 270 South/East
????-Take exit for Rt 28/W Montgomery Ave
????-Stay right to get onto Rockville Pike (355) south
????-Hooters appx .5 mile on right
