Hi,
I have a 98 s70. Today I took my car to the service for maintenance (oils filters plugs etc.) When I got it back I discovered a red light on the right bottom side of the dash panel. It's simbol is something like a radiator with a fan or what. I'm really wondering what the hell is it. Otherwise the car working fine, no problem with it. Could anybody tell me what that red lamp is?
Thx.
radiator fan, or what?

Coolant level low probably. Add coolant or water or both. It's on the left side as you're looking at the engine with the hood up.

Thanks Matt,
but there would be something else 'cause the coolant is full, I've already double-check it. Is it possible that it's some kind of electric problem? Maybe the guys at the service had accidently loosen some wires? I think I take the car back today. Anyway, is that funny sign really belongs to the cooling system?

Yea if it's the same one that I'm thinking of, every 12 months or so I'll accellerate pretty good and it'll light up for a second, scaring the pants off me until I see that it's the coolant low light. My system just bleeds off a little coolant every summer and it creeps downward till I top it off.
Having said all that about me, let's turn to you and say you should just poke around the engine compartement with special attention around the coolant reservoir looking for wires and wire harnesses that may have been pulled loose.
