Allow me to explain the circumstances. I was doing some spirited driving, so I decided it'd be best to let the car idle for two or so minutes after I put it in park, so as to cool the turbocharger down a bit. Two minutes into the idle, I was reaching for the ignition to turn off the car, when alarmingly, the Check Engine light came on. I turned the car off and went to do some research.
I found out how to check the codes myself, and came up with the A2 code 3-1-5. I looked it up, and found it to be the EVAP emission control system. Any clues as to what could be causing the problem, and what possible steps I could take to fix it? I searched through all the other threads and found none of them relating to the code 3-1-5. I drove the car this morning out of necessity and it ran fine, though the initial idle was a bit dodgy (tach jumped a bit from 500 to 1,200 before settling around 900 two-seconds after start-up). Someone told me to check all vacuum hoses, so I'll try that. I'll also go and get some STP Injector Cleaner Fluid. Any other help would be appreciated.
