I have a '94 850 turbo wagon with 175K miles. The dashboard arrow (transmission) lights up occasionally and won't reset until I shut it down and set overnight. I plugged my scan tool into the console socket but no codes are shown. I left the scan tool plugged in and drove the car and noticed that at high speed the arrow would occasionally light and it felt like the transmission slipped out of overdrive momentarily or out of lockup while the dashboard arrow lit for a fraction of a second then went out and lockup resumed. This scenario would repeat after a few minutes and would keep repeating at several minute intervals. Otherwise the car functions fine. Any thoughts?
I recently had to replace the radiator after striking a coyote at night and subsquently replaced the head gasket.

Sounds like it could be the PnP switch. (park-neutral-position). Do a search here as well as taking a look in the repair database. Several have posted about this in the past.
