Anyway, in the past, at around 60 MPH the engine wanted to lope- you could feel the car speeding up and slowing down by 1 or 2 MPH- no error codes. After the coil replacement this problem went away. If you are having the same problem you may have a coil going bad.

2000 S80 T6 Loping at 60 MPH- Bad Ignition Coil
Recently had an ignition coil go bad on our S80s #2 cylinder (error code said #2 cylinder not firing). Replaced all the spark plugs to begin with but still no fire on #2. Once I received the new coil and installed it on #2 cylinder the problem was fixed. (Autozone Duralast Brand- $46.99- turned out to be an exact replacement for original equipment- made in Germany- even had the Volvo name on the top of the coil.)
