Paint???

I have a 1989 740GLE Sedan, I had planned to have it painted this summer but will be selling it soon due to falling deck furniture . Anyway the party responsible for the damage wanted to deduct the difference of a decent paint job if anyone has any idea how much that would cost I'd like to know.
