CEL 99 s70 glt mods

Hey all, trying to get the most out of my 99 s70 glt 129k. Recently I've installed a 3" turbo back exhaust from krmotoring to compliment my k&n drop in filter. Being a catless down pipe to a magnaflow muffler, I've installed a o2 sensor extender on #2 but still getting that cel. Anyone done this and fooled the system? Also, hooked it up on our dyno at work and read a 8 psi boost. Anyone know how high I can turn up the boost without fuel mods? Thanks for any help. Got bilstein hds and eibach springs on order.

You need to go over to Volvospeed.com for the stuff you're trying to do. It's more complicated than just putting in an 02 extender if you're running without a CAT. Also, if I were you, before boosting it to the Nth degree, you really ought to get an air/fuel gauge (IPD sells a pretty nice one for a great price). Without proper precautions you really could blow your engine if you're not careful.

Thanks MIJ, what should I look for in volvospeed? I definetly will take your advice on the gauges. Plan to add boost and ratio gauge. Thanks for any help.

Just go to your section on their message board. Actually, not many there who are modding up '99 S70's... you'll find more in the '98 and earlier section, especially the 850's and your car is really no different than theirs...just a different ECU and electronic throttle body. Just be aware that they can be a bit rough over there on newbies (unlike MVS) so make sure and search and read first before just jumping in and asking questions that may have already been asked a thousand times. Another place you can check in with is www.ipdusa.com I trust them when it comes to modding safely.
