1989 740 turbo runs rough Topic is solved

I have a 1989 740 tubro that started to run very rough one day and only ran at high rpms ( I limped home).

I replaced the fuel filter ( a pain), plugs (appeared to be in reasonable condition) and wires (definately needed replacement) and I can get it to run but it runs rough and tends to stall. It hesitates around 2000 rpms it sputters a bit and has a hard time transitioning over 2000 rpm.

It had been working well previously. I am thinking of pulling and cleaning the injectors.

Any suggestions on what to look at next.
