sub frame 0 rings 2000 S80

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

Post by lowufo »

Does anyone know of a sub frame 0 ring # (size) from like napa / pep boys etc. that would match the ones required for the subframe bushings on an s 80 and probably other volvos.Normally this type of of item is available cheaper from local suppliers. hate to have to get smoked at the dealer

try www.fcpgroton.com and eeuroparts.com too. Euro is cheaper maybe when considering free shipping for orders of $39 or more.

Hi, I ask that as I am chaceing a mystery front end clunking my 128K 2000 s80. Its had struts, spring seats, all tie rods, all disc/ brakes, all sway bar links, and I SILL have a clunk over bumps! even when light brak e pressue is appied, (I thought bad caliper bushings, and assumed this woud change tone / make clunk do away if it was the case. It had no effect) Thanks to all for suggestions, Dave

Mysterious clunking noises in the front end are usually either the spring seats, swaybar endlinks or the subframe bushings.

Clunking by the rear subframe bushings is fixed by the o-rings mentioned.

I did a write up a while back on replacing them:

Good news is that they are only $22 from the Dealer for both of them and they come with new bolts. I doubt they can be found cheaper elsewhere.
