'06 S80 2.5L - stalling and no power

Hello! I am new to this site and a new Volvo owner. I have an '06 S80 T6 with about 30K miles. Yesterday my wife drove about 70 miles and the car stalled when she parked. When she backed out it stalled again. It stalled several times over about 10 minutes. She drove home with no problem and even got stuck in stop -n-go traffic for a while with no trouble. When she got home I took it for a spin. It started fine but stalled immediately each time I put it in Drive. This happened about 15 times until I was finally able to get it out of the driveway. I took a short drive and it felt like there was no turbo - very sluggish.

No warning lights come on and everything else seems fine. Just had the oil changed by dealer last week - that's the only work done on it recently.

Any ideas?

Welcome to MVS.
Since this is an '06 model, you should still be under warranty. If it ended at 30K miles, the dealer might still honor it because this happened after the 30K mile service. Anyway, try calling them and seeing if they will honor it. If not then taking it to the dealer could set you back some $$, so what I would do first is take the car to Auto Zone, PepBoys or other auto parts store where they will loan you a code reader or use a code reader themselves and have your trouble codes read. It's very hard to know the reason for your stalling without some computer trouble codes, other than an obvious hose or two disconnected under your hood. Good luck and let us know what's up.
