I have an annoying problem...

Hi all, hope you are all ok! Basically, I bought a 1998 Volvo V40 T4, its in great condition all over and came fitted with a German made induction kit, straight through stainless steel exhaust, lowered and 17"'s. However, I've noticed a problem which only seems to occur when pulling off and/or accelerating a little aggressively in first or second gear. What happens is that the car feels as if its not receiving enough fuel...or something and it splutters or judders UNTIL I rev it higher and pull of more slowly...I hope people know what I mean because apart from that, it's an amazing car! thank you i advance people, Cris

Hi there...welcome to MVS.
I would start by looking at the throttle body and cleaning if if necessary.
After that, maybe check spark plugs and spark plug gaps...then rotor and ignition wires. Although I'm not familiar with your particular car, my experience has been that it's usually related to the things above when strange "missing" type things happen in low gear. If it were a fuel delivery issue, you would most likely have it at the top end as well...
