2004 S60 fuel filter location?

I am trying to replace the fuel filter on my 2004 S60 2.4L sedan (65,000 miles). I thought I followed the fuel line from the tank all the way to the engine (at least until it dives out of sight), and I did not see the filter. Am I missing something, or just not seeing it?

From the 2004 warranty chart:

* Fuel filter is not replaceable on models identified by engine VIN codes 38, 39, 64, & 68.

Even if your car does not have one of those codes, you don't need to replace the filter until 105,000 miles according to the owner's manual.

On my car it's right in front of the gas tank on the right side, but mine's an S80, don't know if S60 would be the same.

The S60 filter is in the same place, if it has one that is replaceable.
