Added a wing to 850, how to get rid of dash bulb out light

Post by jschick »

I just installed a rear wing to my 93 850, I removed the 3rd light in the rear window and used that plug for the LED lights in the wing, and of course now my bulb "out light" is on every time I hit the brake. Has anyone been able or know how to get rid of this.

The LED brake light does not have the same electrical resistance as the old bulb, hence the trigger. You could try measuring the resistance of the bulb and adding a resistor in series with the wing, probably after the wing, to bring the resistance up to where it used to be.
