2004 V40 Stalls on Start-up

This morning I was able to start my car - the engine turned over normally - but it immediately stalled. The car just won't idle after it starts. If I give the car gas, the engine stays running, but once I take my foot off of the pedal to shift into gear (automatic trans), the engine shuts down.

Any ideas?

Update: Turns out the constant idle speed motor was going kaput. Had that replaced - for $400 parts/labor - and all is good now...
