Hello from south africa!
My dad owns a 2005 s60 t-5 and he previously owned the 850 t-5 - awesome awesome cars - nothing is as addictive as those wonderful turbos!!!
He looks after his cars - and since he has had the s60 its only just done 100 000 km's (you guys work in miles so divide by 1.6)
Between 80 000 and 95 000 km's he has had 2 radiators replaced - and volvo said - oh they do this? That's ridiculous - luckily its still (well not any more) under motor plan so the garage pay for it but if it happens now that the motorplan has expired - how much is it going to cost!!!
has anybody had the same problem where you need to replace the WHOLE radiator in a matter of months???
thanks
Volvo Radiator replacement

I would have the cooling system pressure tested
It could be your cap, not releasing when it needs too. Maybe the thermostat is stuck. Excessive pressure in the system can also be caused by a head gasket leak.

Ive only replaced one radiator in a volvo out of the three that ive owned. The only problem with that rad was that the mounts were broken from hitting bambi. I haven't seen a volvo rad turn green/fall apart like the ones in other vehicles do here in the maritimes.
