Dieing problems with my 1992 740

I have a 1992 Volvo 740 that randomly dies when I am driving. Sometimes I will be stoped at a red light, and sometimes I will just be driving down the road and it dies. I just changed the air intac controle valve and the knox sensor. Any other ideas on what might be causing this?

Have you checked for any fault codes that may have been set in the On-Board Diagnostic unit in the engine compartment?

Me and my father inlaw have both checked the codes and it is not bringing anything new up. We ran the codes about 3 weeks ago and it said the air intac controle valve was faulty, but like I said we replaced that...

Did you erase the code after the repair?
