Trunk locked shut

2000 S40 MY TRUCK WILL NOT OPEN WITH REMOTE
OR MANUALLY>>>>???? CANT FIGURE THIS OUT.
ANYBODY HAVE ANY IDEA WHY????IS THERE A FUSE
JUST FOR THE TRUNK LOCK??? THERE ARE NO OTHER ISSUES
AND ALL THE OTHER LOCKS WORK JUST FINE ----Hmmmmmmmmmmm. PLEASE PLEASE??

Same thing happened to me on my 1994 850 sedan...
The fix for my 850 was to lock the doors with the key, wait a few seconds and unlock doors with key. This unlocked the trunk as well. Don't know why or how this worked, but it did. Just for grins, try it and let me know.
