2005 Volvo V70 Rear Glass Interchange

Does anyone know from what year models will the rear (liftgate) glass work in a 2005 Volvo V70. Also for whatever years will work, will the same be true for XC70 models. Thanks in advance

I hate to tell you but there are at least 8 different pieces of glass listed just for the '05 XC70. It apparently depends on what kind of defroster you have as well as if you have a factory spoiler or not, etc. At least from VADIS it's very difficult for me to decipher what goes with what model as well. I do believe however that the size is all the same.

The car is a 2005 V70 turbo, no rear spoiler, the rear glass is busted (a family members car). We were looking at scrap yards etc, and didn't know what if any years would interchange. What I was asking about the XC model was theoretically if an 04 V70 glass should fit, would an 04 XC70 glass fit, etc. I didn't know there were so many options for the glass on this car.

Thanks for the information, he has found one out of an 05 V70 and for the price compared to the dealer its worth the risk on the part number. Thanks again
