Quick test "Tuts"

Post by tailor »

I have been thinking again,
My process so far, we have a great database for "how to fixes", why can't we add to it by creating basic tutorial/s or guidlines for testing of various items.
I know that the downloadable version for the 850 has various tests and also Chiltons and Haynes, but even some of those tests are not all 100% clear and some of the "middle bits" get left out.
Most of the fixes show some kind of "probing" with pictures, thankfully.
For example, how to test a battery with a load.
I think most of us know that it does not mean stand on the battery and use a DVOM to check the voltage
I continue to learn a great deal from this site and the input of the members and thought this might be a nice addition.

Is this reasonable ? Or is this just the weird ramblings a forum member who isn't sure of what he sprinkled on his cornflakes this morning. :?:
