S80 causing me to use profanity
S80 causing me to use profanity
I have a love/hate relationship with my 2000 S80. It will not start when moist/wet outside. I'm guessing it's the the distributor cap. I was told that it has a core and not a cap. If I go home during lunch when it is warm it starts right up. After doing a lot of reading I thought it could be a dirty throttle body, hole in air intake hose but now I think it is the distributor cap. I am a novice who would love to fix the car myself. I need some step-by-step instructions?

I'd order the cap from ipdusa.com -- easily the biggest, best Volvo parts house -- but ask them first to fax you step-by-step instructions.
