v70 Radio, poor reception and no stereo

My radio is not going into stereo mose, and has poor reception.Anything I can check or past issues with the 1999 V70?

On a '99, just push in the tabs on each side of the radio and pull it out- check to make sure the antenna is plugged into it in the rear of the head unit.
