I have a 94' 850, yesterday the sunroof started messing up. It will raise up and open, but will not retract into the roof of the car. It tries too, but stops when the rear of the sunroof drops down to enter the roof itself.
Do the relays go bad?? I looked to see if anything had come loose and was getting in the way, but it's almost impossible to see(and know) what I'm looking at.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Sunroof Problems
DO NOT FOOL WITH THE SUNROOF!!! IT CAN END UP BEING QUITE COSTLY. I've discussed my sunroof problem with a number of independents and excellent Saturday Mechanics and have been told to go to the dealership. It may need a new solenoid/ motor which is about 200 - 300 dollars. The labor is about another 300 - 400. The motor needs to be timed properly after installation. Good Luck.
