Cabin air temp. sensor

Post by TWMn »

'01 V70 XC. What are the common symptoms of a bad cabin air sensor? Car has heating issues (lack of). Thermostat was replaced last year. The sensor opening was full of dust or lint and I vacuumed it out by placing vac. hose over sensor vent holes. Any way to test this sensor prior to replacing?

The dealer can pull codes for it...being a P2 wagon, I'm not really sure what the test is for it otherwise.
