Post by brianf »

Does anyone know how to reset the Service Required message on a 2004 S60. I had my first service done at a non Volvo dealership and need to remove the message.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Matthew;

No luck. I called the sales rep who sold me this P.O.S. He says he knows that they do not use a special tool or the hand held computer they use to set other functions.

He remembers a mechanic telling him that it is a matter of pushing a couple of buttons eg; something like holding the trip button while pressing
a cruise button or volume button. As soon as I find out I'll post it. In the mean time if anyone else beats me to it please post.

Again thanks in advance.
