V40 1,9d, 2000, ac-problems

Hi

The ac system on the car was not delivering any cold air, so I took it to a ac-service. They filled gas and oil and checked for leaks. The system was all right they said, but still no cold air was coming into the car.

Since the compressor is starting when I hit the ac-button I suspect something is stuck with the airflow control (valves etc).
Anybody with experience on this?

New info: the compressor isnt running. The relay is ok.

Could it be the magnetic clutch?
Is there any tricks to make it work again?

Yes, it could be- on other Volvo's we're able to lessen the clutch gap with a few easy mods... Search for it in the repair database!
