2002 T6 missfire on 1,2 and 3

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

2002 T6 missfire on 1,2 and 3

Post by handsomened »

I just changed the O2 sensor @ bank 2 location 1 (before cat)
cleared the codes. Now I have a code for bank 1 cylinders 1,2 and 3. Car is running rough and trying to compensate. I drove for some time with the O2 sensor not functioning.

Time to inspect the plugs. When were they lst changed?

Also - did you erase the adaptaions before installing the o2 sensor? Is is a new bosch O2 sensor?

I think what you are saying is the new bank 2 sensor is screwing up bank 1 causing misfires. Can your scanner diagram the o2 voltage signal action on both bank 1 and 2.

Do you see a wave pattern change when accelerating on both banks?

Thank you for your reply, the O2 sensor is a new 5 wire Bosch, I have replaced the plugs but how do I erase the adaptations, will disconnecting the battery do it?
