2001 S 80 w broken timing belt

Hi all, I'm brand new to this forum.
I'm contemplating purchasing a 2001 S80 which is not running due to (according to the owner) has a broken timing belt.
My question is on this particular engine is there enough valve clearance or should I expect bent valves or further engine damage. I'm a mechanic but not very familiar with Volvos, any help is greatly appreciated.

pretty certain that is an interference engine...look at Clearwater cylinder heads web site..great prices
