v70 04' hesitation on acceleration

I have a 2004 v70 with about 92k miles that has a hesitation when accelerating. Changed the air filter, use premium gas, no check engine lights, idles good, cruising speeds are good also, passed emissions test, timing belt was changed last April. I know it's probably like having flu-like symptoms in that it could be anything. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to start looking?

We own 3 Volvos, a 95' 940, 04'v70, and a 04's80T6 and I have learned a lot in the last few weeks from the forum. Thank you everyone!

When was the last time you changed the plugs?

Well.... come to think of it I don't think they have been changed. I guess they are passed due to be changed either way!
